Fourteen hours a week given back to the people who ran the close

The result

14h

returned each week

The situation

A finance operations team copied the same numbers between three tools every month. The risk was not drama. It was drift: a missed row, a late report, a person who was the only one who knew the sequence.

What we did

We sat with the close for a full cycle, then built n8n flows that move approved figures between the three tools, draft the internal note, and stop when a check fails. No agent was allowed to post without a person confirming the exception.

After

The sequence is no longer a person. Exceptions still are, which is the point.

What we shipped

  1. Mapped close, with owners on every step

  2. n8n production flows and a run log, so the copy-paste layer is gone

  3. A short agent that drafts the recap mail
